TRUTITE™ 616 Thread Sealant

TruTite™ 616 Thread Sealant is designed for the instant assembly of threaded fasteners which if required can be disassembled with standard hand tools for maintenance or replacement purposes, it is a high viscosity and medium strength sealant.

The product is an anaerobic thread sealant which cures when oxygen is no longer present. This occurs when the air between your two metal fittings disperses which then allows the yellow liquid to cure in a matter of minutes (please see curing times). This process then forms a strong fitment which will prevent any loosening and leaks from vibrations caused to the fitment. TruTite™ 616 Thread Sealant is most often used on Brass and Steel but is also effective on Stainless Steel, Aluminium and BZP Steel products and fills large distance gaps and gives perfect results on wide-diameter (up to 0.5mm) applications.
